About us

The story of NorWonder began with the courage to go further.

I’m Grass, a girl from the mountain city of Southwest China, driven by a deep curiosity and a passion for exploring the world. Years ago, I ventured alone to the edge of the Arctic and became the first Chinese woman to work on a king crab fishing boat in the Barents Sea. Amid snowstorms and crashing waves, I saw the northern lights dance across the sky for the first time and experienced the vastness and quiet tenderness of this frozen land.

It was here that I met my Norwegian husband, Kristoffer, and slowly began to put down roots. Later, we joined forces with our like-minded friend Ørjan, a Tromsø local who knows every curve of the fjords and Arctic roads. As a seasoned driving instructor, Ørjan not only possesses top-level driving skills, but also years of experience ensuring passenger safety in extreme conditions. Whether navigating icy mountain passes or coastal winding roads, he always delivers our guests safely and steadily to their destinations.
Together, we founded NorWonder with a shared goal: to transform our love for the Arctic into unforgettable travel memories. We believe the most meaningful journeys are born from cultural connection and mutual trust.

Travel is more than just checking off landmarks — it’s a dialogue between cultures, a way to discover resonance in the unfamiliar. We understand your desire to venture far, and the unease that can come with language barriers. That’s why we strive to offer deeply local, thoughtful experiences — to guide you into the heart of the fjords, and let you feel the northern lights flicker above you on a winter night.
