Easy

A scenic full-day Senja escape from Tromsø with ferry crossing, coastal villages and breathtaking viewpoints — the perfect big-bus Arctic photo adventure.

Join our Senja Budget Big Bus Highlights Tour and experience one of Northern Norway’s most dramatic islands in the most comfortable and affordable way.

The tour departs from Tromsø city center in the morning. After a scenic drive of about 1 hour 15 minutes, we reach the ferry terminal and board a beautiful fjord ferry crossing, where you can relax, enjoy sea views, and capture photos as we sail toward Senja Island.

Once on Senja, we travel through the island’s most mountainous and visually striking region. You will visit a series of carefully selected photo stops, including the picturesque fishing village of Husøy, the wild coastal landscapes of Mefjord and Ersfjord, the iconic Devil’s Teeth (Tungeneset) rock formations, and the famous Bergsbotn panoramic viewpoint overlooking the fjords and mountains.

This is a host-led tour, meaning there is no traditional guide. Instead, an on-board host will assist with timing, safety, and coordination, while you are free to explore, take photos, and enjoy each location at your own pace.

You will return to Tromsø around 16:00, with a total duration of approximately 9 hours. This tour is perfect for travelers who want to see Senja’s essential highlights, enjoy unforgettable Arctic scenery, and do so in a relaxed, budget-friendly way on a comfortable big bus.
