Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in the tours offered by NorWonder AS ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking or participating in our tours, you (the "Customer") agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Booking Process:

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information in the booking form. A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received. By completing a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1.2 Confirmation:

Once we receive your completed booking form and full payment, NorWonder will confirm your booking via email within 24 hours. The confirmation email will include all relevant details about your trip.

1.3 Special Promotions:

Promotional offers may be subject to specific terms and conditions. Customers are responsible for reviewing these terms when booking. By completing the booking, you agree to be bound by both the general terms and any applicable promotion-specific terms.

1.4 Age Requirements:

By making a booking, you confirm that you and all participants meet the age requirements for the activities. Where age restrictions apply, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance.

2. Payment Methods

2.1 Payment Types:

NorWonder accepts major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) through our website’s self-service system or via a payment link provided by us.

2.2 Full Payment:

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. If full payment is not received within the designated time frame, NorWonder reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refunds:

Refunds will only be processed in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined in Section 4. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method and may take 5–10 working days to process after cancellation is confirmed.

3.2 Force Majeure Refunds:

No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond NorWonder’s control.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Individual Bookings:

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the activity will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the activity, or no-shows, will not be refunded.

4.2 Group Bookings (7 people or more):

Cancellations made more than 15 days before the activity: No cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 15 to 7 days before the activity: 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the activity or no-shows: No refund.

4.3 Group Size Adjustments:

Final group size may be adjusted by up to 3 persons up to 14 days before the activity without charge. Changes after this deadline will incur a 100% cancellation fee for the adjusted participants.

4.4 Cancelled Tours:

NorWonder reserves the right to cancel tours up to 14 days before departure due to unforeseen circumstances. Customers will receive a full refund for any payments made.

5. Tour Conduct and Safety

5.1 Customer Responsibility:

Customers must follow all safety guidelines provided by our guides. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund.

5.2 Health and Fitness:

Participants must be in good health and able to participate in outdoor activities in cold conditions. NorWonder is not responsible for accidents or injuries unless caused by gross negligence.

5.3 Clothing and Equipment:

Customers must wear warm winter clothing suitable for Arctic conditions. Some tours may provide limited gear such as thermal suits or gloves. However, NorWonder is not responsible if provided gear does not meet individual expectations and this does not qualify as grounds for a refund or compensation.

6. Customer Responsibility

6.1 Travel Documents:

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documents including passports, visas, and health documentation. NorWonder is not liable for issues caused by incomplete or invalid documentation.

6.2 Health and Safety:

Customers must inform NorWonder of any medical conditions or special needs prior to the activity.

6.3 Safety Instructions:

Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in removal from the activity without refund. NorWonder is not liable for incidents caused by non-compliance.

7. Insurance

7.1 Strong Recommendation:

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, personal accidents, and property loss or damage. In case of illness or other personal reasons that prevent attendance, we advise contacting your insurance provider for compensation.

7.2 Customer Responsibility:

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all travelers under the booking are properly insured.

8. Photography and Media

8.1 Customer Photography:

Guests may take personal photos during the tour. Drones or aerial equipment are not allowed without prior approval.

8.2 Company Photography:

We may take photos or videos during tours for promotional use. Participation implies consent unless you inform us in advance.

9. Complaints and Claims

9.1 Complaint Procedure:

Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the event, along with relevant details and any supporting documentation.

9.2 Late Complaints:

Complaints received after 7 days may not be processed.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

NorWonder AS reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
